September holds most of what August offers with a little less pressure on the camps. The herds are spread across the northern woodlands and the Mara triangle, crossing back and forth as grazing dictates — animals cross the river more than once, in both directions.

For many of our guests this is the sweet spot: the crossing season without the very peak of the crowds.
