Game viewing at water level on the Rufiji — hippo, crocodile and elephant crossing in front of you.
Only possible in a handful of places, principally Nyerere along the Rufiji channels. Being at eye level with a hippo pod is a very different feeling from looking down at one from a vehicle, and the birding from a boat is excellent.
