Bush breakfast and sundowners
Best: All year · Add to any day
Breakfast laid out under an acacia, or a drink on a kopje while the light goes.
Small, unfussy and disproportionately memorable. A table, a fire, coffee brewed in the open at seven in the morning; or a folding chair on a rock at six in the evening with a cold drink and the plains going gold. Most camps will arrange either with a day’s notice.

Build bush breakfast and sundowners into your route.
Some of these need booking months ahead, others need only a word to the camp the night before. Tell us which ones matter and we will plan the days around them.
