Group size changes the per-person cost more than almost anything else, because the vehicle and the guide are shared.

You are not expected to know what a Tanzanian safari costs — that is our job. But a rough band stops us designing something that is not what you had in mind. Park fees alone are substantial, so the floor is higher than most first-time visitors expect.
